I then went to my Terminal and entered in the command: "mysql_secure_installation"Īnd received the following message: -bash: mysql_secure_installation: command not found I then went to the Terminal and entered in the command: "mysql" and received the following message: -bash: mysql: command not found Which tells me I need the 64 bit version of MySQLĭownload from MySQL :: Download MySQL Community Server I went to my Terminal and entered in the command "uname -a" and received the following message: local 10.8.0 Darwin Kernel Version 10.8.0: Tue Jun 7 16:32: root:xnu-1504.15.3~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64 ![]() I am new to Apache, PHP and MySQL and want to learn how to use them but without MySQL I am sunk. I have spent the last three days trying to install and start my MySQL server and have been unsuccessful. ![]()
